As A Participant
We are always looking for volunteers to be in any of our ongoing projects. If you have an interest in volunteering as a participant in any of our studies, please reach out to our principal research scientist Kinsey Herrin!
You may be a good fit for our studies if
- Prosthesis Studies: You are an adult lower limb prosthesis user
- Hip & Ankle Exoskeleton Studies: You are an adult stroke survivor or an active able-bodied adult aged 65 years or older
- Older Adult Studies: You are an active or sedentary able-bodied adult aged 60 years old or older
- Pediatric Knee Exoskeleton Studies: You are an 8-25 year old and you have a walking impairment that impacts your knee
- Parkinson’s Studies: You are an adult diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease

Joining the lab
Please note: All EPIC Lab research requires in-person data collection. We do not offer virtual or remote research projects.
Undergraduate Students (not at Georgia Tech): Several Georgia Tech summer research programs are open to undergraduate students from other institutions. Interested students should apply directly through one of the programs listed below.

- Spring semester: Begin reviewing applications in late October, review through start of semester if positions are available
- Fall semester: Begin reviewing applications in late March, review through start of semester if positions are available
