Pratik is an NSF GRFP fellow and a Master’s student in ECE. His primary research interests lie at the intersection of machine learning and robotics, specifically implementing supervised learning algorithms in real-time on robotic hardware. His previous work explored gait phase, speed and incline estimation in real-time on the hip exoskeleton as well as the role of user-specific data in machine learning algorithms. Future work includes online adaptation of high-level estimation and prediction algorithms for overground walking. Outside of the lab, you can find him playing volleyball or enjoying Atlanta’s plethora of good food.
