Chase is a PhD student advised by Dr. Aaron Young. He earned his Masters with Thesis in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and his Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada in 2022. After his Bachelors, he worked as a research engineer at the National Research Council of Canada where he developed light-weight, high precision greenhouse gas sensors. He is currently working on designing active lower limb prostheses for take-home studies.
Outside of the lab, Chase enjoys training and watching combat sports and is a novice long distance runner.
