Summer is a masters thesis student advised by Dr Aaron Young. She received her BS in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University with a focus on Biomechanics. She is interested in improving mobility with wearable robotics and is currently designing a modular multi-joint exoskeleton.
Outside of the lab, Summer enjoys pottery, dancing, and trying new restaurants.
