Jared is a first year Master’s Student who leads the development of an assistive Back Exoskeleton used to prevent injury in the lower back during manual labor. His main interests involve validating the effectiveness of the device and implementing novel control systems to improve its functionality in both lifting and throwing scenarios. After graduation, Jared plans to continue work in robotics research in industry. In his free time, Jared enjoys 3D printing, bodybuilding, climbing, and getting lost in some forest or desert.
